To provide hand on Implant exprerience on dentists who wish to become competent in implant placement. Treatment planning and surgical techniques of the most common implant surgical procedures, atraumatic extraction, immediate placement, including socket preservation.
This course is limited to graduates of AAID MaxiCourse who have built a foundation knowledge base in Implant Dentistry. This comprehensive clinical training will prepare you to implement implant dentistry into your practice instantly. Attendees will treatment plan and perform surgery on patients placing 15-20 implants with a 1 to 1 over shoulder guidance from two AAID Credential Prosthodontists.
This 3 day, limited attendance, live surgical program is designed to address all nuances of these surgeries in a real life scenario.

Dr. Iyer graduated with honors from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1994 and went on to pursue graduate studies in Prosthodontics from the same University. He taught as a clinical Assistant Professor for several years at NYU’s department of Post Graduate Prosthodontics. Currently he holds two appointments in the departments of Periodontics and Prosthodontics at Rutgers’ University Dental School, New Jersey.
Dr. Iyer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has lectured in over 36 countries and presented at over 200 symposia in Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics.
He is the Director of the prestigious AAID Implant Maxicourse held in Asia with centers in Abu Dhabi, Chennai and Sri Lanka. He co-directs these courses at Rutgers University, New Jersey, Roseman University, Utah, Nova Southeastern University, Florida and at Newport Beach California.

Dr. Mostafavi graduated in 1991 as a Dentist and started his private practice focusing on restorative dentistry.He provided implant dentistry services in his office starting 1999 and graduated from AAID MaxiCourse in 2005. He continued his studies in field of Prosthodontics at Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester,NY where he graduated in 2018. His practice is limited to Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics.
Dr. Khyati Handa is a board-eligible prosthodontist with over a decade of clinical experience in advanced restorative and implant dentistry. She currently serves as a Prosthodontist and Dental Director at Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics in Dallas, Texas, where she leads clinical teams and delivers expert care in complex prosthodontic and full-mouth rehabilitation cases.
Dr. Handa earned her Master’s degree in Prosthodontics internationally, followed by a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) and dual MDS degree in Prosthodontics in the United States. She also holds a Certificate from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), reflecting her specialized training and clinical proficiency in implant dentistry. Her expertise spans esthetics, digital workflows, implant prosthodontics, and interdisciplinary treatment planning.
She is known for her precision, compassionate care, and dedication to mentoring fellow professionals, and she remains committed to advancing patient care through evidence-based, comprehensive treatment.
