Dr. Oz was born in Boston to in a family of dentists. He received his degree, a Bachelors in Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from in 2006 in Karachi, Pakistan.
Soon after, he returned to Boston and completed a three-year specialty program at the renowned Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Here he received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics in 2011 as well as a Masters in Dental Sciences.
He has had the opportunity to be a faculty member at the prestigious Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. He has also been a faculty member of the Maxicourse, American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Aside from teaching internationally and nationally, Dr. Oz maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry.

Dr. Iyer graduated with honors from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1994 and went on to pursue graduate studies in Prosthodontics from the same University. He taught as a clinical Assistant Professor for several years at NYU’s department of Post Graduate Prosthodontics. Currently he holds two appointments in the departments of Periodontics and Prosthodontics at Rutgers’ University Dental School, New Jersey.
Dr. Shan Alvi received his Bachelors in Dental Surgery in Karachi, Pakistan in 2012.After working in private practice for a year he went on to further his skills by specializing in the field of prosthodontics at the prestigious Henry M. Goldman school of dental medicine, Boston university (USA)
Most of his training at the University (2014-2017) encompassed diagnosing and treatment of complex full mouth rehabilitation cases and hence developed a liking for Management of worn down dentition.
During his residency , he was involved in research and presented his thesis on “Comparison in Accuracy of 3d printed and Milled dental Models”.
Dr. Alvi also had the opportunity to complete the Maxicourse conducted by the well renowned American Academy of Implant dentistry. In addition to the above implant training he has also received training by the New York Implant Institute.
Currently Dr. Alvi works in two private practices in San Antonio and limits his practice to Prosthodontics. In his practice he strongly adheres to the philosophy of “treat the patient , not the pain” as he welcomes patients from all walks of life.
It is difficult for Dr. Alvi to be away from the world of dentistry as he is married to an orthodontist, however, when he does find time , traveling and exploring new countries with family is something he enjoys most.
Specialist Restorative Dentist & Implantologist. Dr Banday received her Masters’ and Doctorate from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA and completed her Residency in Hospital Dentistry at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. Established the Dental Services at the Aga Khan University and Hospital where she was Associate Professor and Head of Dental Services. Joined the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi and later the Ambulatory Healthcare Services- SEHA where she was appointed as Head of Dental Services until 2015 and was actively involved in direct patient care and continuing dental education activities to expand the scope of clinical practice of her colleagues besides her administrative responsibilities. She is an Academic Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Education Delegate for the International Team for Implantology for the Middle East Section and has a Diplomate from the International College of Implantology.
Dr Saiesha Mistry BDS MS A leading Aesthetic and Restorative Dentist from Mumbai, India. She graduated from the Government Dental College and Hospital Bombay in 1991. She completed her Post Graduation with a Master’s Degree in Conservative Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Hospital, London in 1995.
After having established a successful restorative practice in Mumbai India, she obtained a Diploma in Advanced Aesthetics from Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry, New York University. Dr. Mistry currently maintains a private practice, which is limited to Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry with special emphasis on smile make-over, implants and oral reconstructions.
Dr. Mistry is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and an accredited member of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Mistry has published articles in various journals and newsletters, and has presented numerous lectures, hands-on workshops, and continuing education courses in various aspects of Aesthetics, Implants and Restorative Dentistry in India and Internationally
