Dr. Shankar Iyer, USA

Dr. Iyer graduated with honors from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1994 and went on to pursue graduate studies in Prosthodontics from the same University. He taught as a clinical Assistant Professor for several years at NYU’s department of Post Graduate Prosthodontics. Currently he holds two appointments in the departments of Periodontics and Prosthodontics at Rutgers’ University Dental School, New Jersey.

Dr.Ninette Banday, UAE

Specialist Restorative Dentist & Implantologist. Dr Banday received her Masters’ and Doctorate from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA and completed her Residency in Hospital Dentistry at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. Established the Dental Services at the Aga Khan University and Hospital where she was Associate Professor and Head of Dental Services. Joined the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi and later the Ambulatory Healthcare Services- SEHA where she was appointed as Head of Dental Services until 2015 and was actively involved in direct patient care and continuing dental education activities to expand the scope of clinical practice of her colleagues besides her administrative responsibilities. She is an Academic Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Education Delegate for the International Team for Implantology for the Middle East Section and has a Diplomate from the International College of Implantology.

Dr. Varun Acharya, India

Dr. Varun Acharya graduated from Saveetha Dental College, Chennai and was adjudged the Best Outgoing Student among his peers. He completed four years of post graduateeducation in Prosthodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry, New York, where he was a recipient of the Adisman Award for the Most Outstanding Graduating Resident. He went on to pursue a one year fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics &Oral Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He is the only American Board of Prosthodontics certified Maxillofacial Prosthodontist practicing in India and is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. Heis currently engaged in private practice at Acharya Dental, Chennai, and lectures nationally and internationally at various scientific dental conferences.

Dr. Amit Vora, USA

Dr. Vora earned his B.D.S. degree from Nair Hospital Dental College, in Bombay, India in 1992, and his Master of Dental Surgery degree in Periodontics from the same institution in 1995. After coming to the United States, he earned his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He did a 2 year General Practice Residency at the Staten Island University Hospital, where he was the Chief Resident in his second year.

Dr. Jaime Lozada, USA

Dr. Lozadais professor and director of the Advanced Education Program in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University, School ofDentistry where he also received his Certificate in Implant Dentistry (87) and Prosthodontics (95).He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Implant Dentistry, past president of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Oral Implantology, past president of the American Board of Dental Specialties and Fellow of the American College of Dentists and current president of the American Board of Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Bernee Dunson, DDS

Dr. Dunson is a third generation graduate of Morehouse College. After completing his undergraduate studies with a degree in biology in 1987, he entered the dental program at the University of Southern California (USC), where he received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1991. He then attended Columbia University’s general dentistry residency program at Harlem Hospital in New York. After completing the residency, Dr. Dunson returned to Georgia, and in 1992, he began practicing as an associate in Atlanta. At the same time, he served as a resident in the oral implantology residency program at Loma Linda University (LLU) in California, traveling to the West Coast one week out of each month for three years. The experience culminated in a graduate certificate from LLU in oral implantology in 1997.

Dr. Jason Kim, USA

Clinical Assistant Professor, New York University College of Dentistry, Dept. of Cariology and Comprehensive Care, Implantology Program-Surgical Director; Diplomate, American Board of Oral Implantology; Honored Fellow, American Academy of Implant Dentistry; Diplomate, International Congress of Oral Implantology; Member, Academy of Osseointegration; Faculty for NYU-Zimmer Institute. Board of Trustees, American Academy of Implant Dentistry; Past President, Northeast District, American Academy of Implant Dentistry; Co-Founder and Co-Director of Long Island Implant Center; Founder and Director of AAID Long Island Implant Study Club. Currently attending Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Dept. of Periodontics for certificate in Periodontics; Private Practicein Flushing, New York. Dr. Kim lecturesnationally and internationally inthe field of dental implants, bone grafting, soft tissue augmentation, treatment planning, and the use of biologics.

Dr. Ozair Banday, USA

Dr. Ozair Banday was born in Boston while his parents were studying here to become specialists in the dental field. He went on to study in Pakistan, receiving his degree, a Bachelors in Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from in 2006 at age 21. Soon after, he returned home and completed a three-year specialty program at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics in 2011. This rigorous training program focuses on a wide range of complex problems within the oral cavity and teaches the skills needed to address issues ranging from complete oral rehabilitation to highly aesthetic work. In 2013, Dr. Banday completed a two-year advanced placement program, also at Boston University, to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.). During these two years, he had the opportunity to teach at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and then became a full-time prosthodontist in a hospital-based practice at Dorchester House.

Dr. Bart Silverman, USA

Dr. Bart Silverman graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1982 Summa Cum Laude and received his doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1986 from Fairleigh Dickinson Jr. School of Dentistry, where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Westchester County Medical Center in 1989 and was chief resident in his final year. He is in private practice limited to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in New City, N.Y. and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. He has been lecturing in the field of implant dentistry for over 25 years. Dr. Silverman is an attending Physician at Westchester County Medical Center, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Clinical Associate Professor at New York Medical College, Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery New York University School of Dentistry and faculty at NYU Post Grad Continuing Education Dental Implant Program.

Dr. Rachana Hegde, USA

Dr. Rachana Hegde is an Associate Professor, Director of Implant Education and Director of Periodontics at College of Dental Medicine (CODM) at Roseman University of Health Sciences, South Jordan Utah. Dr. Hegde received her graduate degree in Dental Surgery from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India in 2005. She completed her post-doctoral education program in Periodontics at College of Dentistry, The Ohio State University in 2014. She served as the chief resident at the final year of her residency. In the same year, she received her Masters of Science degree in Dentistry from The Ohio State University. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a peer reviewer for the Journal of Implantology and the International Journal of Clinical Implant Dentistry. She has authored and co-authored scientific papers on periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Hegde is currently an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Research and American Academy of Dental Education.

Dr. Stuart Orton-Jones, UK

Dr Stuart Orton-Jones is a general practitionernot engaged in clinical practice anymore but concentrates on dentistry around the world>Although Stuart Orton-Jones lectures and teaches around the world he believes that truly effective teaching involves participants doing the procedures not just listening to lectures about the procedures. The presentations he has developed are easily understood and make relatively complex subjects easily understandable. All his presentations are available to view and download at no cost on his website.He believes that true teaching should be participant orientated not presenter orientated. His practical teaching sessions are highly appreciated by those attending them because they are involved in doing practical exercises not just listening to lectures.He currently teaches on the American Academy of Dental Implantology Year courses in the US in Oregon and Las Vegas, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Iran, India, and Malaysia. He also lectures at several international conferences including Jordan, Egypt, India and the United States. Stuart Orton-Jones has a comprehensive knowledge and experience of dentistry and has attended numerous courses and conferences in Europe, North America the Middle East and Asia. He has lectured extensively at home and abroad.He studied at Guy’s Hospital Dental School London, the Northwestern Dental School Chicago and at the Pankey Institute in Miami He has conducted highly intensive practical courses on many subjects including Occlusion, Appliance Therapy, the Treatment of Headaches and Education: BDS LDS, LDS RCS (Licentiate of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons).

Dr. Robert J. Miller, USA

Dr. Miller received his B.A. from New York University and M.A. from Hofstra University, both in biology. He graduated with honors from New York University College of Dentistry where he received the International College of Dentists Award for clinical excellence and then completed his residency at Flushing Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Miller is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Diplomate International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Fellow Academy of Osseointegration, and serves on the executive board of the Society for Oral Laser Applications based in Vienna, Austria.

Dr. Natalie Wong, Canada

President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). Dr. Wong graduated from the University of Toronto with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1996 and received her Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2007. She is the only dentist who has attained a combination of the U.S. Board Certification in Implant Dentistry (Diplomate of American Board of Implant Dentistry/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID) – 2003), a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (FAAID 2004), U.S. Board Certification in Prosthodontics (Diplomate of American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP) - 2008), and Canadian Board Certification in Prosthodontics (Fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) – 2008). Dr. Wong has served as the Co-Director and an Associate-in-Dentistry (clinical instructor) in the Implant Prosthodontic Unit in the Graduate Prosthodontic Department at the University of Toronto. She has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Oral Implantology in the Department of Periodontology at Temple University. She is a past president of the ABOI/ID, a past president of the Association of Prosthodontists of Ontario, and Founder and Director of the Toronto Implant Institute Inc. Dr. Wong lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry, while maintaining a private implant surgical and prosthodontic practice in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Dr.Rima Abdallah, Lebanon

Dr. Rima Abdallah is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She brings a decade of evidence-based approach in Periodontology and Implantology. Dr. Rima graduated with a dental degree (BDS) from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon in 2006. She then attended Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in the US where she received her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.) in Periodontology in 2008. She also received the prestigious Award for Excellence in Periodontology from Boston University in the same year. In 2011, Dr. Rima earned Doctor of Science (DSc) in Oral Biology from Boston University. Pursuing her passion for academia, Dr. Rima served as Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at Lebanese University, as well as Clinical Associate Professor at the Periodontology Division of the Oral Surgical Department at the Beirut Arab University.
